Report on Dr Bright

#1

Steam Name: PmoneyTheG

Ingame Name: Sal Is Epic

Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:419352872

Who are you reporting?: Dr Bright

Story and Evidence: So, me and a couple of friends had a kidnap base and we kidnapped Dr Bright. Dr Bright asked me if i could let him out and i said "I dislike you, so no." So once his time was up, he did kill in console, came back to my base directly after, (NLR) and proceeded to plant a C4 across the street from my base, and gravgun it into my base. I then killed him, and thought it was done with. I went back to kidnapping, and Dr Bright killed me for kidnapping another player, and my party member killed him for killing me. When we both were leaving spawn, i then said to Dr Bright "Stop being petty" so he then said "I still killed you Sal". After he returned to his gambling booth, I confronted him about how it was hypocritical and petty for him to do that since he kidnaps all the time. I then start to see warns in chat and after 3, Dr Bright kills me. I only have video of the part i highlighted in green, and my obs didnt pick up my in game audio for some reason, but picked up discord audio and other players in game audio. Here is the video: https://streamable.com/twr0o

So basically, Bright came back after he died to raid which yeah I can see as NLR. Then he killed you for kidnapping which is valid and then warned you, 3 times which is what he needs to do, because he didn't want you there. If the story is true which there is no evidence of him actually breaking NLR I see nothing wrong as he warned you to leave.

Well, doing a continuous string of "roleplay-legal" actions on a single player like this could be considered a harassment case.

However, I don't think we have enough evidence for a harassment case here.

I was just talking to him. There was no reason he did those warns except just to kill me. Not because i was harassing him or anything like that. I was just about to leave around the 1:03 mark but then i saw he did warns so i went back and i was trying to ask why he was warning me and then he killed me. Its just extremely annoying and petty for someone to do that for no other reason.

I mean not to step out of line by asking this, but why is this a report by a Mod, for another Mod when it could have been resolved by asking higher ups in a VC where you know there is constantly other higher ups?

The warn was bull given you weren't presenting any threat and it was a 'public' gambling station. It's one thing if you were minging and if he decided to legit put a sign saying '[name] not allowed' it's how we handle people with stores that don't want specific people in their stores in game.

Adding on to what Succ said you only gave him 4 seconds to respond to a warn which is obviously way too short for anybody to respond to.

I beg to differ, once somebody sees the first or second warn they should act. As long as the warns aren't like .5 of a second between each other then it's fine in my eyes.

Report by a mod against a mod to allow other staff to have a chance to give their thoughts on the report instead of having one higher up make a decision and nobody else has a clue about what's going on.

It was less then a second between each warn so even if it was necessary to do warns (in my opinion it was not necessary) i barely had anytime to react and my average of 10 FPS wasn't helping either
